Ici, c’est au sur- gissement de la danse que s&#8217;intéresse Timothée Gérardin&#8230; pour parler de cinéma musical. Sans négliger la dimension biographique ni la technique, sa <em>Haute société du spectacle</em> analyse ce que racontent les numéros de Fred Astaire, à la fois «<em> produit et conspirateur de sa propre fétichisation</em> ». On y lit combien l’art du mouvement peut être loquace à propos de l’individu et des rapports de force entre lesquels il évolue. Soulignant la cohérence du parcours de l&#8217;Américain, cet essai dépeint avant tout un corps lancé (entre illusion et lucidité) dans l’industrie capitaliste hollywoodienne. Et fait au passage des claquettes dans nos têtes.<br />
