				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Après une année 2015 bien chargée (un E.P., deux projets nommés Broken Bat et GØGGs, sans compter un L.P. avec son autre groupe Fuzz), Ty Segall commence 2016 en fanfare avec cet album solo. <em>Emotional Mugger</em> marque un retour à ses influences premières. Il délivre une sorte de néo-garage fédérateur, synthèse nourrie de fuzz, de guitares surf et de tout ce que le rock compte de soli de cordes décomplexés, le clavier drone en plus. On note surtout un vrai sens de la mélodie et des rengaines entêtantes. Cet opus confirme au fond deux idées : les années 1990 n’ont jamais autant été à la mode et, paradoxalement, le Californien s’affirme comme l’un des artistes façonnant l’avenir du rock.</p>
