				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>L&#8217;agence de designers Doshi Levien pouvait-elle voir le jour ailleurs qu&#8217;en Grande-Bretagne ? On en doute. Seule la majestueuse Albion, ce creuset de cultures diverses, pouvait donner lieu à une rencontre aussi riche. Depuis treize ans, à Londres, Jonathan Levien et Nipa Doshi conjuguent leurs talents. Lui est écossais, elle est indienne, tous deux sont diplômés du Royal College of Art. Le travail de ces deux designers célèbre le métissage et l&#8217;hybridation culturels. Pour le GHI, le tandem a sélectionné des objets trouvés dans les foyers, bazars et autres boutiques situés en Inde. Ces objets du quotidien sont utilisés pour le nettoyage, les repas, le bain, la prière, le culte de divinités&#8230; En mêlant sacré et profane, marketing et artisanat, cette exposition en dit long sur la culture indienne. Et sur le regard porté sur elle par deux artistes, aussi.</p>
