				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Huit ans après <em>Can You Dig It ?</em>, superbe florilège de BO blaxploitation assorti d&#8217;un livret extrêmement documenté, le label londonien signe cette compilation (<a href="http://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tate-modern/exhibition/soul-nation-art-age-black-power" target="_blank">à l&#8217;occasion de l&#8217;exposition du même nom à la Tate Modern</a>, visible jusqu’au 22 octobre). Ou comment démontrer que, du mouvement des droits civiques aux Black Panthers, la cause des Noirs a marqué durablement la création artistique – et inversement. En compagnie de Gil Scott-Heron, Roy Ayers, Don Cherry, ou encore Doug Carn, qui mêle fièvre sous-jacente et coolitude, un gigantesque pan de musiques noires mariant soul, funk, jazz et avant-garde est ici mis en perspective. Bref, même blanc comme un cachet d&#8217;aspirine, on a envie d&#8217;entonner : « <em>I&#8217;m black and i&#8217;m proud !</em> ».</p>
