				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Aux affaires depuis 2000, mais révélé six ans plus tard grâce à l&#8217;impressionnant <em>Close to Paradise</em>, Patrick Watson a marqué la décennie qui s&#8217;achève en composant une electropop rêveuse. Adepte des cordes et des cuivres, on l&#8217;a parfois rapproché de Debussy (les flottements géniaux) ou de Rufus Wainwright (le lyrisme sur le fil). Pour autant, le Californien a tracé son propre chemin. Ce chanteur, pianiste et compositeur prolixe (il a signé une quinzaine de BO) n&#8217;est jamais aussi émouvant que dans la retenue.</p>
