				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Trop souvent réduite à son versant slackness (Yellowman, Bounty Killer, etc&#8230;), l&#8217;histoire du dancehall est bien plus riche. Trois ans après un florilège conséquent (<em>The Foundation Sound</em>, 2014), <a href="https://soundsoftheuniverse.com/sjr/product/maximum-dancehall" target="_blank">Soul Jazz ressert quelques merveilles labellisées Studio One</a>. Parmi elles, des connaissances évidemment – Johnny Osbourne, Jackie Mittoo, Alton Ellis, Sugar Minott, Horace Andy – et quelques morceaux moins connus du grand public, tel l&#8217;inusable <em>Chanting</em>, de Jim Nastic (cette basse insensée !). Notons aussi le rub-a-dub poisseux de Lone Ranger ou la ballade conclusive <em>Rastaman Camp</em> de Freddie McGregor, aux accents de Marley tardif. Bref, ces 18 joyaux rebattent les cartes et poussent à explorer ce vaste domaine qu&#8217;est le dancehall.</p>
