				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>De Coca-Cola, on connaissait déjà l’origine pharmaceutique ou la « recette secrète » jamais égalée. À l’occasion des 125 ans de la marque, le musée du design de Gand revient sur l’histoire de la célèbre boisson, et montre l’importance du design dans le statut légendaire du soda. Publicités des années 50 (avec des stars telles Clark Gable) à aujourd’hui, canettes ou produits dérivés, The Coca-Cola Company a puisé une centaine de pièces dans ses archives d’Atlanta pour célébrer une success-story devenue symbole de l’américanisme. L’occasion de découvrir l’évolution de la fameuse « bouteille à contours », reconnaissable les yeux fermés. Mais aussi de démonter certains mythes : le père Noël vêtu de rouge et blanc aurait existé bien avant que la marque ne s’en empare.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Curtis LaForche (Michael Shannon) est-il schizophrène, comme sa mère ? Pourquoi ce père de famille est-il en proie à des cauchemars et des hallucinations ? Q ue sent-il approcher, lorsqu’il imagine que le ciel gronde ou éclate en gouttes d’une poisse jaunâtre ? Comme dans <em>Melancholia</em> (2011), la fin du monde est imminente. Mais si Lars Von Trier l’accueillait avec soulagement, ici l’angoisse domine. Décrivant minutieusement la vie quotidienne, Nichols atteint une puissance allégorique rare. A travers les difficultés économiques d’une famille banale il pointe la fragilité d’un système et, pire, de l’Amérique comme utopie.</p>
<p><strong>Krach</strong></p>
<p>Rarement on aura vu une telle importance accordée à l’argent &#8211; celui, quotidien, que l’on gagne dollar après dollar, et qu’un crédit, une maladie grave, risquent d’engloutir. Le mythe de l’<em>American way of life</em> inscrite dans une terre d’abondance qu’il suffisait de faire fructifier, se délite. Il n’y a alors plus de refuge, ni dans la famille, l’amitié ou la communauté, ni dans les institutions. En ce sens, Nichols réussit un passionnant film politique : la tempête qui menace cette utopie ne vient pas, comme d’habitude, de l’extérieur. Elle est le souffle de son propre effondrement.</p>
